In 1958 the Merrimack Valley Textile Museum began collecting history American-made textile machinery. That collection was preserved by Randolph Heritage and found a home in North Carolina in 2017. This will be the core of the NC Textile Museum.
Machines are of course made to work, and our goal is to have a living, moving, operable collection. Your support enables RHC to house and restore these irreplaceable ASME landmarks.
Thanks to Kryssa Schemmerling for sharing her production!
Randolph Heritage and the NC Textile Museum have the largest collection of historic power looms in the United States. Many of them could run again with a little TLC; others need a full-scale restoration.
You can send us $20 towards restoring any machine, and you can donate larger amounts to us directly at-
