Mill city? Mill village?

Some artifacts from the American Textile Technology Collection are on display at Revolution Mill Lofts in Greensboro, NC. The Revolution flannel Mill was built by the Cone brothers starting in 1898, and ran until 1982. The entire mill complex had more than a million square feet of floor space.
